Last weekend I was out in Harrow (coming back from not catching the boat to Pelee Spring Song). After a morning playing with my nieces I picked up some “thin” asparagus – the barn had a small assembly line with workers grading and separating the freshly picked stalks. Today I’m marinating it in oil, balsamic vinegar, and garlic and tonight I’ll be grilling it. Hooray for first asparagus of the season!
