Apparently there’s some danger with Sony’s new PS3, set for release in November 2006 in North America but not until 2007 for Europe. The BBC reports:
The [Sony] spokesman said: “Ultimately, we’re trying to protect consumers from being sold hardware that does not conform to strict EU or UK consumer safety standards.”
So could someone please tell me what the danger is? Should I be scared? I mean, why do they care more about European gamers than North Americans?
